Warwick Data Solutions provides managed I.T. services in Middle Tennessee and select U.S. states.

CONTEXT

As the company grew in 2021-22 their target customer shifted from uncontracted home users, to small and mid-size businesses under fully managed service contracts. As such they desired to launch a business-focused website and fundamental marketing strategy, with little existing brand assets aside from the company logo.

MY ROLE

Project Highlights

Design meets decision-makers

Beginning with the existing logo and preferred CMS, I developed a website and brand assets geared toward the client’s target market. I focused on warm images and natural language as we identified key decision-makers as “helper” types who averted the cold, jargon-heavy approach of typical I.T. firms.

Marketing copy meets product

WDS had previously grown by word-of-mouth, and now faced the challenge of publicly articulating its products for the very first time in its 20 year history. My work included strategically categorizing the company’s key products and developing product definitions in harmony with the company’s fulfillment standards and processes.

CX meets automation

A prime function of the website was to provide 24/7 help desk access for existing customers, particularly employees of business-clients who were reaching out for the first time. Using automated workflows, I developed a seamless process to identify valid customers and court them from website to the help desk ticketing system on a secondary platform. The automated onboarding process and UX writing educated the customer along the way while notifying relevant help desk technicians.

Social Media Implementation

I implemented the company’s first social media calendar and coached company leadership on best practices for continued social media promotion.
