Project Highlights

Relational Database & Markup Language

Here I used Hubspot's relational database HubDB to store images and data, in conjunction with HubL (a markup language which is Hubspot's extention Jinjava) to reference the database. In the resulting design, images and data from the database display in the dynamic portfolio grid. Hovering on an image displays a thumbnail of the article that appeared in Travelink's feature in that month's addition of Sophisticated Living Magazine.. Clicking the image links through to a web edition of that article.

Hubspot Implementation

I launched the Hubspot platform for Travelink from the ground up, moving over from the previous CMS (Percussion) and email marketing platform (ActOn). In this capacity, I managed a 60,000+ contact database including segmentation and workflows, API integrations, and sales team integration.

WordPress

Travelink’s Enroute Blog was one of the last things I migrated over to Hubspot, so for the majority of my time with the company I was providing backend support for the Wordpress site, as well as editing copy and sourcing graphic content for the blog articles. The articles were shared in a monthly email newsletter which was just one of the several monthly email campaigns I executed for the company.

View the live site

While many of the surface images have changed since I left in 2018/19, the site is significantly the same, and the majority of the technical backend which I created appears to be in place.

TIMELINE

Fulltime August 2016 – March 2018

Additional consultation through January 2019.
